| On the magical terrace
We lied down on the ground
But we wondered
Who are the stars?
Gazing amazingly at those pearls
I said:
Those who yielded the ghost became stars
But she said:
All the unrealized dreams became stars
What is the very truth of such a riddle?
Every glance at every glittering star is a wish!
I saw them tonight
I believe they are diamonds
I could touch them with my very fingers
I enjoyed moving them
Maybe changing their destiny
I hang my swing on the stars
I swung up thanks to the night’s breeze
I smiled with such vividness
Going to and fro
Is making of me a queen
Who are the stars?
I said:
Tears of forlorn and shred souls
But she said:
A lost hope of withered souls
What is the very truth of such a riddle?
Ancestors of ours left them as a treasure
Or maybe a print of such gifted beings
Who are the stars?
A painting of a fancy artist
We wondered still until dawn set
We yearned, but getting no slumber
Each night is similar to tonight
One haunted question is roaming on
